BEST DEAL for 2026

Day 2:
You wake on day 2 for a full cooked breakfast served at 6:00am and depart at 6:30am on your safari vehicle for half hour drive to the mokoro station at Daonara. You then go out on the Mekoro at 8am for a couple of hours on the mekoro followed by a couple of hour game walk. After the game walk you enjoy a nice picnic spread back at the riverside and a bit of relaxation in a nice shady location. At around 2pm the guide and you will set off on a 1 hour downstream mokoro ride back to the mokoro station. From there it is a half hour game drive drive back to your riverside campsite for another warm shower and wonderful Okavango sunset.
Day 3:
This morning runs at a more comfortable pace: tea/coffee arrives at sunrise, and breakfast is unhurried (available before 08:00). Depart at about 08:30 to begin your three-night Moremi journey, with a meaningful stop at Elephant Havens. Here, you’ll take part in a guided visit to learn about their elephant rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration work. After the visit, continue to Moremi Game Reserve, reaching South Gate around midday. From here, the day becomes a slow, wildlife-focused drive across the western floodplains, with a picnic lunch stop in the Xinii area. Arrive in the Third Bridge region later in the afternoon (often around 17:30). Your Meru tents will be ready, and the camp team will be preparing dinner. Hot water will be heated on the fire for bucket showers—enjoy them at your own pace before dinner under the stars.
Day 4:
After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring Moremi on game drive, with a packed picnic lunch for a midday break in the bush. In the afternoon, head to Xakanaxa Boat Station for a two-hour boat cruise, offering a fresh perspective on the waterways and wildlife. Following the cruise, continue with game viewing on the return to camp, arriving in time to unwind and enjoy dinner.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
You’ll be met in Maun in the early afternoon—either at Maun Airport or another central meeting point—and assisted with your connection to the helicopter team. From there, enjoy a scenic helicopter flight into the Okavango Delta, landing near your semi-permanent base camp.
After arrival, your guide will orientate you around camp and show you to your riverside Meru-style tent, complete with a proper bed and a private en-suite bush bathroom. Settle in, take in the views over the water, and help yourself to refreshments from the main-area mini-bar—ideal for a relaxed sunset by the lagoon.

Day 5:
On the last full day on safari the pace slows down a bit. Rather than going out for a full day game drive you go out for a morning game drive and an afternoon game drive with sun downers. Returning back to camp for lunch and a little relaxation.
Day 6:
A super early wake up and a dawn game drive, returning for a full cooked breakfast. You then return to Maun in the later afternoon.
