4 Night Moremi/Okavango Safari Special
USD1320.00 per person - Departing every Thursday (single supplement +25%).
Day 1

We depart from Maun at 10am for the Moremi Game Reserve. We arrive at Moremi South Gate at mid-day, from there we
proceed to the Xinii and Blackpools area on the game rich Western flood plains of Moremi. We have a picnic lunch on the way
and continue to enjoy the day of game drives before reaching camp in the late afternoon with dinner on the way.
Our campsite in Xinii is an exclusive “Botswana Guides Association” site, we will be the only group in the site for the nights we
are there. Your accommodation will be in 3meter x 3meter canvas dome tents with stretchers and linen. They have a canvas
screen attached to the back of the tent that encloses a bush toilet so there is no need to go wandering in the night.

Day 2
On your full day in Moremi you head out for a full day of game driving with a packed picnic lunch. We will depart at around 7am
after a full cooked breakfast, arriving back at camp in the later afternoon.

Day 3
Wake up at 5am, have tea/coffee and cereal and set off on an early morning game drive returning back in camp at 11:30am for a
full cooked brunch. At 13:00 we break camp and set off for a three and a half hour drive your riverside camp on the edge of the
Delta. Your 3m x 3m canvas dome tents with beds will be set up before your arrival and the cooking of a campfire dinner will be
underway. After enjoying a fire warmed shower you may sit back and watch the sun setting over a lagoon full of hippos and
crocodiles. A 2 course dinner will be served at 7:30pm.

Day 4
We wake on day 4 for a full cooked breakfast served at 6:00am and depart at 6:30am on your safari vehicle for half hour drive to
the mokoro station at Daonara. We go out on the mekoro at 8am for a couple of hours on the mekoro followed by a couple of
hour game walk. After the game walk we enjoy a nice picnic spread back at the riverside and a bit of relaxation in a nice shady
location.
At around 2pm we set off on a 1 hour downstream mokoro ride back to the mokoro station. From there it is a half hour game
drive drive back to your riverside campsite for another warm shower and wonderful Okavango sunset.

Day 5
